Six people work at a small mountain station. They do not look at the stars, and their work is not about stars. So they look at the sun. But right now the sun is stormy. One stormy area faces the Earth. So that area throws a fast wind at us.
Then the wind moves through the sky. It can pull the wires above the town, and the town can lose its light. So one specialist reads the sky all night. She thinks about that light, and she writes her notes. Her notes are frequent, and people read them every day.
Then the notes go down to the town. There the town keeps a big power storage room. The room sits by the river, and it holds power for three hours. And the team does not spend that storage on every street. They allocate it to the town's doctor first.
But one note brings real worry. The wind grows strong that night. The doctor asks for more power, and the wires pull hard. So the wind stirs talk at the power station. It also stirs a hard question in the town.
The station changes its work schedule, and two people stay until morning. Numerous calls come in, and one man asks the same thing. The specialist answers the man. Then she talks about the wind. "We do not stop the wind. We only get ready early."
That area turns away two days later, and the frequent notes stop. The room stays by the river, and the team checks the sun every night. So the sun does not keep a schedule.
